The European Cultural Brand Award 2020
Tonight, in Potsdam, the Center for Urban History was awarded the 15-th European Cultural Brand Award in the nomination of the European Education Program of the Year 2020.
For the competition, the Center’s team presented a selection of our educational projects. For us, each project is a unique possibility to build a space of inclusiveness, to have a conversation while having differences, to acknowledge the diversity of experiences: in the past, today, and for the future.
The Center’s team is grateful for the award and the opportunity to be nominated among other brilliant projects and initiatives.
Apropos, this year, we have been granted support for our education activities from the Ukrainian Institute. Due to the cooperation, we made available a huge amount of the Center’s resources in English and developed a structure and the visualization for the education online platform. We find the empowerment in the project and the award. We feel encouraged to continue building the education capacity of our outputs. It is a valuable support and motivation for our future plans.
