How did wealthy Jews pick their marriage partner in the modern era? How did marriage politics influence the creation of networks and lead to increased influence in the business sector? How did marriage allow the creation of global commercial networks? What is 'yikhus'? How did marriage strategies change over generations and what role did marriages with gentiles play in the process? These questions were explored during Vladyslava Moskalets's talk.
