Film Screening for the "Argentine Culture Days" in Ukraine

As part of the "KinoMisto" film nights, the Center hosted a series of Argentine films as part of the "Argentine Culture Days" and presented by the "Liudy Vulyts" ("Street People") Lviv Tango Club.

On May 25, 26, 27, and 28 at 7 pm we showed four films produced in recent years. Each of the films chosen for the screening was positively received by movie critics, included in festival programs, and successfully shown in Argentina and abroad. We will watch the crime and scam drama "Nine Queens" (2000), the tragic comedy "Conversations with Mom" (2004), the drama "Cama Adentro" ("Live-in Maid") (2004), and the romantic drama with comedic elements "Elsa and Fred" (2005).

The film viewing began on May 25 – on the anniversary of the May Revolution of 1810 which led to the making of the Argentine State.

Program:

May 25 at 7 pm: "Nine Queens"/ "Nueve Reinas" (2000), director Fabián Bielinsky, with synchronous translation and English subtitles (115 minutes)

May 26 at 7 pm: "Conversations with Mom"/ "Conversaciones con Mama" (2004), director Santiago Carlos Oves, with synchronous translation and English subtitles (90 minutes)

May 27 at 7 pm: "Live-in Maid"/ "Cama Adentro"/ "Señora Beba" (2004), director Jorge Gaggero, with synchronous translation and English subtitles (85 minutes)

May 28 at 7 pm: "Elsa and Fred"/ "Elsa y Fred" (2005), director Marcos Carnevale, dubbed into Russian (108 minutes)
