Conference room, Center for Urban History

The exhibition "Ukraine – Revolution of Dignity. Maidan November 21, 2013, to February 22, 2014, in the Lenses of Polish Journalists" consisted of works by Polish journalists Piotr Apolinarski, Paweł Bobołowicz, Konstanty Czawaga, Rafał Dzięciołowski, Konrad Falęck, Wojciech Jankowski, and Eugeniusz Sało, who spent three months on Maidan in Kyiv, during the most dramatic time. The pictures showed the history of the events from November 21, 2013, to February 22, 2014, including the unprecedented brutal attack on peaceful protesters. The photos show scenes that clearly prove the Ukrainians' indomitable spirit and their desire for freedom and the creation of a new civil society in Ukraine.

The exhibition was organized by the newspaper Kurier Galicyjski, the Ukrainian-Polish Galician Club, with support by the Polish Foundation Wolność i Demokracja, and the Polish Foreign Ministry.

The presentation of the exhibition took place during a meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Galician Club and a discussion about the Ukrainian civil society and its role in the Revolution of Dignity.

For questions about the exhibition, please contact Mirosław Rowicki, editor of Kurier Galicyjski.
