We invite you to the online talk with colleagues from the Centre of Urban History hosted by the workgroup Media and Cultural Memory at NECS – European Network of Cinema and Media Studies. What impact does the war have on the society in Ukraine? In view of the current developments, the Centre for Urban History is expanding its scope and will start crowd-sourcing websites and audio stories about the war for future research, archives, and eventual legal procedures. The aim is to both counter the loss of public information and to save individual voices and experiences about the war in Ukraine and the refugee crisis.

Introduction: Bregt Lameris, Open University of the Netherlands

Chair: Dagmar Brunow, Linnaeus University, Sweden
