A presentation on oral history field work during the 28 August – 2 September 2009 Lavrivska Summer School took place at the Center under the title "Genius Loci Lavrova: Historical Memory of a Village." Bogdan Solchanyk, a doctoral student of the School for Social Studies (Warsaw), and the Olena Dobosh (Master's degree in Psychology, Lviv) spoke about the project.

The program of the presentation also included contributions by Anna Wyliegala (Warsaw) on the topic "The Specifics of the Historical Memory of Galicia in Small Towns" and the head of the Oral History micro-project of the Center for Urban History of East-Central Europe, Dr. Halyna Bodnar (Lviv).

The Lavrivska Summer School was attended by students and graduates of the  program of Inter-Institutional Individual Humanitarian Studies (IIHuS), who represented the Ivan Franko University of Lviv, the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv). During the Summer School, its participants implemented a project on collecting personal memories on the twentieth-century history of the St. Onufrius Lavrivski Monastery from the 15 oldest inhabitants of Lavriv village.
