Gathering war testimonies

We invite all cultural heritage professionals and researchers to participate in an online consultation session to discuss best practices in running an online collection project about testimonies depicting the war in Ukraine and its impact on society. The event is organized by Europeana Foundation, EUscreen Foundation and Centrum Cyfrowe.

In the meeting we will discuss:

• collection of testimonies (stories, pictures, video)
• preservation, storage & sustainability
• copyright & licensing
• ethics

The Center for Urban Histories team will also introduce their new international initiative 24.02.22, 5 am: Testimonies from the War. 

To join the Zoom Session, please register via Eventbrite. The session will be held in English with simultaneous interpreting into Ukrainian.

The event is co-organised by Europeana Foundation, EUscreen Foundation and Centrum Cyfrowe in support of the ongoing initiatives in Ukraine, inspired by discussions with the Centre of Urban History in Lviv.
