Prof. Kulshat Medeuova has been working on her research project titled "Philosophical-Anthropological Research of Astana" for more than 10 years. At this stage, she is in Lviv researching the nature (metaphysics) of historic cities, of which Lviv is a part. Using well-known metaphors about what is architecture – the "embodiment of the spirit," the reflection of a world view of an era -- Medeuova is conducting comparative research between history as an actual discourse and politics as a discourse in the process of something being formed. Medeuova is a doctor of philosophical studies and a senior lecturer at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
