She holds a master's degree in biology, and is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies at Kherson State University (2022-present). Dissertation research topic: Flora of old cemeteries of the Right-Bank Cereal Steppe. Since July 2022, she has been doing an internship at the University of Warsaw (Poland).

She received a BioDATA Ukraine Data Mobilization grant "Documenting of Phytodiversity of Nature Protected Areas of Lower Dnipr Region" (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) and a scholarship from the NCN scholarship program for Ukrainian students and young researchers (2022-2023) (University of Warsaw), which are aimed at digitizing biodiversity data of cultural heritage sites in Ukraine.

She is a specialist in the field of phytobiodiversity conservation. For the last eight years, she has been actively involved in conservation initiatives and international projects on digitizing biological data and creating protected areas and shadow lists of the Emerald Network of Southern Ukraine.

During her LivArch fellowship at the Center for Urban History, she will work on a study of documenting pre-war biodiversity data based on periodicals in southern Ukraine in the open network of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).

The researcher will focus on digitizing periodicals, preparing datasets in accordance with Darwin Core standards and publishing them to the GBIF network, and contributing to the support of FAIR data (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, Reusability). He will also work on summarizing information on documenting biodiversity in the territory of the Nature Reserve Fund of Southern Ukraine and on their possible damage. The publications will document the conservation value and their current data even before the full-scale invasion and will serve to assess the reparation of the losses of protected species in the future.

Research interests: flora of cultural heritage sites, biodiversity conservation, digitization of biodiversity data.
