Archives Department of the Bucha City Council
Head of the Archives Department of the Bucha City Council, a professional lawyer and archivist with experience in preserving, researching, and documenting events in Ukraine's modern history, particularly those in the city of Bucha, including the period of the full-scale invasion in 2022.
She carries out comprehensive work on the collection, cataloging, systematization, and analysis of archival materials—photographic documents, video recordings, and eyewitness testimonies. She has practical experience in collecting and recording eyewitness testimonies of the occupation, archiving them, and using them as a source base for researching wartime events. She is also involved in building archival collections aimed at preserving the evidence base and historical memory. In particular, she contributed to the creation of a thematic digital map of those killed in Bucha on the Google Maps platform, which combines geospatial data with archival materials and testimonies. Additionally, she participates in 3D modeling projects that create digital reconstructions of objects and environments related to military events and cultural heritage.
Her professional interests lie in the field of digital humanities and the implementation of innovative technologies (particularly 3D modeling) for the preservation, research, and promotion of Ukraine's cultural heritage.
As part of the LivArch scholarship for documentation and archiving of the war at the Center for Urban History, she will work on the project "Voices of Bucha: A Digital Archive of Memory" in 3D format.
