PhD in History, expert in technology transfer and sustainable development, member of the Supervisory Board of the GCIP Regional Acceleration Center for Innovation, Technology, and Startups in the Mykolaiv region of Ukraine. In 2011, she earned a bachelor's degree in international relations, and in 2023, she received a master's degree in financial management.
She focuses on clean technologies and the energy transition, studies energy development in various countries, and addresses ethical and legal issues related to the archiving of confidential energy data. In her work, she pays particular attention to climate governance and adaptation to climate change.
During her residency at the Center for Urban History as part of the LivArch scholarship program for documentation and archiving, Alona Bilokon will work on researching the ethical and legal issues surrounding the archiving of confidential wartime energy data.
