In cooperation with the Ukrainian Catholic University, the Center welcomed Professor Thomas Wünsch from the University of Passau, Germany, for his lecture.

Professor Wünsch spoke about the integrating, cohesive powers of religion in a multi-confessional, religiously pluralist society such as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

focuses his research on a wide range of topics such as the Haskalah, the Urban History of Upper Silesia, Poland and the German Empire, and Red Ruthenia as a border region of Latin cultural influence in Europe
