Conference Room of the Center for Urban History

We invite you to a public discussion titled "Justice for Ukraine: Prospects and Challenges", which will take place as part of a series of events marking the tenth anniversary of Philippe Sands' book "East-West Street".

Will a tribunal for the crime of aggression lead to the fragmentation of international criminal justice or serve as proof of its effectiveness? Do Ukraine's allies currently have the political will to make reparations a reality? And what needs to be done to bring justice closer for Ukraine? We will seek answers to these and other questions together during the discussion.

Joining the conversation will be Philippe Sands, an international lawyer and author, and Inna Linyova, director of the Human Rights Institute of the Ukrainian Bar Association. The event will be moderated by Ivan Gorodyskyi, Chairman of the Board of the Lviv Center for International Law and Justice.

We invite you to register here.

The event will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian.

The event is organized by the Lviv Center for International Law and Justice in partnership with the Center for Urban History.
