The screening of the film "I Shot Andy Warhol" (103 min. Directed by Mary Herron, USA, 1995) took place.

In the twentieth century, when technology allowed women to do men's work not only no worse, but often better than "males", the "weak" sex waged a real war for their legal rights. The film tells the extreme story of one such warrior, lesbian Veleri Solanas, who assassinated avant-garde artist Andy Warhol for losing a manuscript of her play. The film is based on real events.

The screening was held as part of her100ry: Independent Women's Festival.
