Jörn Rüsen

is Senior Researcher at the Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut (KWI) in Essen, Germany. He is one of the most renowned contemporary European scholars or historical consciousness and humanism as central aspect of intercultural dialogue and communication. In 2010 the Lviv-based publishing house “Litopys” published a Ukrainian translation of his “New Ways of Historical Thinking” (translated by Volodymyr Kamianets).
