Oleksandra Kliushnichenko

assistant of the Urban Media Archive project (2026-now)

She received her bachelor's (2019) and master's (2020) degrees in cultural studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Research interests: human philosophy, transhumanism and posthumanism, ethics of technological improvement of humans, cultural images of the future, and the impact of technology on identity and corporeality.

As a photographer and videographer, she has participated in a number of international and local research projects:

  • "Documenting Ukraine" by The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM, Vienna, 2023)—documenting the housing situation of internally displaced persons;
  • AFTER Institute (Ukraine-Germany, 2019)—artistic photo research as part of the urban project Invisible Community;
  • "Political Criticism" (2019)—creation of video interviews for the project "Through Labor".

She worked as a cultural manager and librarian at the URBAN library of the Lviv Municipal Library network (2023-2024), as well as an online store manager (2020-2025).

She has completed courses in video editing, documentary filmmaking, graphic design, and software testing, and has skills in photography, working with photographic equipment and lighting, digital material processing, and content management.

At the Urban Media Archive, she works as a project assistant, involved in the processing of digital materials, digital processing, and visual documentation.
