Mariia's project offers a new perspective on understanding the social process of repatriation in the context of memory politics. The emphasis on a large industrial city allows us to consider the role of the peculiarities of repatriates' lives at the local and national levels in the context of broader social changes of the postwar era. However, this research topic is characterized by considerable practical significance, since the geography of research is not limited to Dnipro.
