History of Jewish Communities in Eastern Galicia

The Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, with the support of the Swedish Committee Against Anti-Semitism and in partnership with the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe, is organizing an international seminar for history teachers from Sweden on the history of Ukrainian Jews and of the Holocaust on the territory of Ukraine. An important part of the seminar will be dedicated to the history of Jewish communities in Eastern Galicia. Participants will visit places linked to the life of Jews as well as to the Holocaust in Lviv, Zhokva, Staryi Sambir, Drohobych, Kolomyya and Sniatyn. The Center will host the seminar's discussion meetings.
