Part 1
Part 2

On May 29-31, 2014, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Center for Urban History held a conference "Urban Spaces of Lviv/Lwów/Lemberg: Conceptions, Experiences, Practices." This was the twelfth conference from the series "Lviv: City - Society - Culture," which was launched together with the Institute of History of the Pedagogical University of Crakow.

The three main focuses of the conference were the understanding of space through conceptions, practices and experiences. The purpose of this conference was to gather researchers from various countries who explore Lviv’s past through its spatial aspects as a part of its representations and through the individual and collective views/feelings of the residents of the city, their private experiences, and their attitudes toward the world.

The program of the conference can be found here.

Other videos from the conference can be found under Video Chronicle.
