Mobile exhibition "The Search
for Home in Postwar Lviv. The Experience of Pidzamche" by the Center for Urban History has finished its Lviv tour and made a final stop in Rynok Square. It will remain there until June 14, 2013. So, we remind everyone not to miss the opportunity to visit these information boards, which present significant moments of modern history of Pidzamche area.
The exhibition deals with an important but underresearched topic – the return to peaceful life in postwar Soviet Lviv – and focuses on the city’s northeastern part, particularly the Pidzamche area. The exhibition is based on materials, collected as part of a separate scholarly study. These materials included interviews with area residents and photographs from private collections.
